We are a corporate member of the Recruitment Employment Confederation, REC, the industry body for our sector. Our membership of REC is central to our keeping up to date with all legal, compliance and regulatory changes in recruitment practices and employment law and we make sure all our staff are fully briefed and updated on all changes and the implications for our clients and candidates. We have a separate team who are responsible for attracting work seekers and we also make sure this team is fully trained to identify the qualifications and compliances that are needed before a candidate can be put forward to our healthcare clients.
We also encourage our staff to take up the range of REC training and development courses to enhance and update their professional and recruitment skills. REC offers management, operational, sales and business/commercial training.
A strong differentiator for Medilink is our client relationship management and we provide dedicated account managers for our clients. This gives individual client responsibility to our staff members and enables them to develop good client relationships and their own understanding of clients’ business and operating environments. We also encourage our staff to use their initiative and enterprise skills to identify innovative routes to attract new candidates, using the knowledge and insights gained from our in-depth client relationships to make sure we are attracting candidates with the skills and experience our clients need.
