Description
MediLink Consulting are recruiting a Diabetes & Endocrinology Nurse Specialist on a 6-month contract based in the Hampshire, UK.

Duties include: To maintain the strategic lead in developing innovative approaches in the management of diabetes, ensuring research-based practice, generating and evaluating new ideas and ways of working.

Strengthen the skills of the health & social care professionals in hospital and community settings in relation to diabetes. Act as a specialist resource to the general public and fellow professionals.

Manage the Diabetes Centre, having responsibility for managing the budget, staff and day-to-day management.

The Registered Specialist Nurse must have 6 Months UK NHS experience and NMC Pin. 

Experience working as senior experienced diabetes specialist nurses with clinical skills including advanced diabetes care, paediatric and adult pump starts, remote care and support.
