- MediLink Consulting are recruiting Band 7 Complex Needs Children's Nurse to work in a multidisciplinary setting and team to promote the needs of children with special needs, prioritising own workload & to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care for this client group.
Duties will include to co-ordinate the health needs assessment of children attending the centre and provide clinical advice and support on aspects of care for children with special needs to families and colleagues within the integrated team and other agencies.
To participate in the multi-disciplinary assessment of children attending the centre and to take the lead professional/key worker role for a number of these children, working closely with administration staff to ensure that agreed outcomes of referral meetings are met including prioritising and allocation of children for assessment.
Experience / Qualifications: Registered Children’s Nurse, minimum of 3 years post registration experience in acute paediatrics and minimum of 2 years of working with Children’s and young people who have complex care needs and disabilities.
WorkingHours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
