- MediLink Consulting are recruiting a ST1-2 Old Age Psychiatrist to work in NHS hospitals across the South of Coast of England, UK.
Duties include to take part in holistic assessment, care planning and delivery of care to patients within inpatient wards, supporting those with acute mental health problems later in life. To assess and clerk patients upon admission. To assess patients for physical health issues and concerns and implement treatment plans, to liaise with acute general hospitals as required for physical health needs, to undertake mental health assessments such as MMSE/depression screening, MSE and contribute to weekly MDT, admission/discharge meeting as required. Attend daily flow meeting to progress discharge planning.
The experienced Psychiatrist will need to have UK experience working in Psychiatry.
This is a locum role starting immediately.
